Difference between Manuka honey and commercial honey
Manuka honey is a special type of honey that is obtained in New Zealand from the flowers of the Manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium). In contrast to conventional honey, Manuka honey contains a higher proportion of the so-called methylglyoxal (MGO).
Commercial honey, on the other hand, contains a smaller proportion and is usually obtained from a variety of different flowers, which varies its taste and color.
It is important to note that not all Manuka honeys are the same. The amount of methylglyoxal can vary depending on the variety and when it was harvested. A quality feature of Manuka honey is the marking of its MGO strength on the packaging.
Sustainability & Environmental protection
Honey, throat sprays and essential oils are bottled in Miron jars.
This violet glass offers the optimal opportunity to preserve the original freshness and quality of the food over a longer period of time. Care was taken to ensure that the labels are easily removable so that the jars can be reused.
