The story of Ildefonso is not only a sweet one, but also an interesting one. It began towards the end of the 19th century. In 1880, a confectionery master from Victor Schmidt developed the fine recipe of the popular layered nougat cube. On January 1, 2000, the company Victor Schmidt & Söhne was acquired by Manner.
