There are 3 fatty plant oils with their active ingredients in this balm:

Shea butter

Shea butter has a positive effect on the collagen tissue of the dermis. Triterpenols can inhibit protein-degrading enzymes that break down collagen and elastic fibers. Above all, shea butter prevents skin aging and protects against moisture loss. Studies show that the lupeol it contains has a skin-soothing and anti-irritant effect.

Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil consists of almost 90% unsaponifiable waxes. It thus forms a moisture barrier par excellence, which keeps moisture in the skin and consequently reduces dryness and itching. Fat accompanying substances such as vitamin E complex, provitamin A, squalane phytosterols and minerals protect against UV rays, environmental influences and free radicals. Jojoba is called the “liquid gold of the Indians”.

Olive oil

Olive oil has a long tradition as a skin care product. The fatty oil that warms the skin is very suitable for dry, poorly supplied, cracked and flaky skin. Attention: Olive oil is not recommended for inflammatory skin processes (e.g. neurodermatitis).
