The black cloth bandages have an extremely thin PUL layer on the inside (= Polyurethane laminated) which serves as leak protection. This wafer-thin plastic layer is necessary to prevent leakage, but still allows evaporation and is therefore permeable to air. So you always have a safe feeling when wearing it! The cloth bandages made from organic cotton will last for several years if you take good care of them. How many pads you need depends on the severity and duration of your period. To protect you from leaks, a laundry protector is integrated into the cloth bandage.

Another tip about your cloth bandage:

You can simply rinse your sustainable cloth bandage briefly under cold water after wearing it , then hang it up to dry and then wash it in the washing machine at 60 degrees with your remaining dark laundry. This will make your pad hygienically clean again. Heavily soiled pads benefit from more frequent machine washing, longer soaking (e.g. in soda water) and drying in sunlight. Don't worry: If you put your bandage in the wash when it is dry, there is no risk of the color staining on the rest of your clothing. Important: When you wash it for the first time, your cloth bandage can shrink by up to 5%, which is completely normal due to the high cotton content. By the way: It is important that you wear the fabric bandage or panty liner in well-fitting panties that are not too narrow. This means that the band of the briefs should be at least 6 cm wide.
