The vision of a young winemaker

Katrin Strohmaier grew up on the picturesque Strohmaier winery in Pölfing-Brunn, in the heart of western Styria. She immersed herself in the fascinating world of viticulture at an early age and developed a deep passion for winemaking. As a young winemaker, she dreamed of creating her own, unique product that reflected the essence of Styrian wine culture in a new form.

For the Miss Rósy White Edition, Katrin chose the white wines from her family winery as the basis. These wines, characterized by the unique terroir of the region, offer an ideal basis for the creation of a special vermouth. Katrin's goal was to preserve the character of these wines while creating something completely new. 

The path to the perfect recipe

The process of creating the Miss Rósy White Edition was a journey full of dedication and creativity. Countless experiments have been carried out in which various herbal mixtures have been tested. Katrin and her team did everything they could to find a balanced and harmonious combination. After many tastings and fine-tuning, the time had finally come: the perfect recipe, consisting of twelve exquisite herbs, was found. These herbs give the vermouth its characteristic, full-bodied note and a subtle sweetness that caresses the palate.

The Miss Rósy White Edition offers a versatile taste experience. It can be enjoyed on the rocks, where its complex flavors come into their own. Alternatively, it can be spritzed with soda or tonic to create a refreshing, zesty note.

Since its launch in April 2021, the Miss Rósy White Edition has not only won the hearts of connoisseurs but has also received numerous awards. Their unique quality and incomparable taste have been recognized with several gold medals, including gold at the World Vermouth Award in the UK, gold at the AWC Award, gold at the CWWSC in Spain and the Frankfurt International Trophy.
