Mostbarone - The crime novel by Helmut Scharner

Mostviertel, Lower Austria: Franz Haider, leader of the Mostbarone club, lies dead in front of his Mostheuriger. A competitor's cider bottle, which vehemently denies the crime, was used as the murder weapon. Major Brandner finds out that the murdered man not only made friends in his position as club leader and also had an affair. The number of suspects is growing, but concrete evidence is lacking. Another murder turns the previous investigation on its head.
