The sustainable & Washable organic cloth bandages last several years if cared for properly. When you wash it for the first time, your cloth bandage can shrink by up to 5%, which is completely normal due to the high cotton content. Otherwise, handling is very simple: First rinse the used organic cloth pads and pads with cold, clear water. Then let them air dry (this ensures that when washed with the other laundry, there is no transfer of color onto other items of clothing). For washing, we recommend a program with a temperature of 60 degrees - this will ensure that your organic cloth pads and pads are hygienically clean.

How many organic pads and pads do I need?

How many pads do you need? depends on the strength and duration of your period. It can be assumed that approximately the same amount of cloth bandages or pads are needed per day as disposable products. So if you use 3 disposable pads in one day, you will need 1 cloth pad per day and have to change the pad 3 times. It is therefore best to get inserts to change in addition to the cloth bandage. Towards the end of the rule, you can also use the bandage without an insert. It can then be used like a panty liner.

The sustainable and reusable organic cotton pads are laminated on the inside with a wafer-thin layer of PUL (=polyurethane). ) which serves as leakage protection. This wafer-thin plastic layer is necessary to prevent leakage, but still allows evaporation and is therefore permeable to air. So you always have a safe feeling when wearing it!

To attach the bandage, simply wrap the wings around the middle bar of the briefs and close them with a press stud. The bandage has two snap fasteners so that depending on the width of your panties you can decide whether you want the panty liner to be wider or narrower.

Another tip about cloth bandages:

It's important that you wear the cloth bandage in well-fitting briefs that are not too narrow. This means that the band of the briefs should be at least 6 cm wide. By the way, our feel-good briefs made from organic fair cotton go perfectly with the fabric bandage!
